Fun at Busy Bodies Gym

I have loved being at home with Cooper this summer. This month we have been doing lots of fun things...swimming; taking walks; going to the mall; playdates with his friend, Brody and his Mommy (Lauren); playing at the splash pad; swinging at the park; going out for ice cream/frozen yogurt; music/story time at the library with his friend, Sara and her Mommy (Cheri); KinderMusik with his friend Cole and his Mommy (Denise); and the Busy Bodies Gym also with Cole and Denise. We have been busy, but I have relished every minute. I'm just trying to soak it all in....

He really loved the trampoline as well, even though he doesn't look all that excited here. I would bounce him and he would just laugh and laugh, those deep belly laugh that babies do-love it!

Lazy Sunday Morning in Bed

On Sunday mornings, when Cooper wakes up, we all hang out in our bed together. It's our family relaxing time and he loves rolling around in our big bed.

Having fun at IKEA

We took Cooper to IKEA to look at all the fun stuff. We decided to eat there as well. Cooper loved the food, but then quickly ran out of gas during the LONG trek through the entire store. I swear, they trap you in there so you have to go through every display area and floor just to find the exit!  He was a good sport though and promptly fell asleep once we got home.

First Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my amazing husband! 

Mac has embraced fatherhood and absolutely LOVES being a dad. 

Cooper adores his daddy and they have so much fun together.

Cooper really, really loves yogurt. He will eat anything if you just dip it in yogurt!

After Cooper had his lunch, we took Daddy out to lunch at his favorite Mexican restaurant, Julio G's. Yum, yum!

Miss you Mom!

I can hardly believe that it's been a year since my mom passed away...
She was such an amazing mom, wife, and grandmother! I wish that Cooper could have got to know her the way that we all did, but I have a feeling she's right here with us still.  I love you Mom!
